The McFarland House

The McFarland house has a rich history, it was built in 1857 by William Hugh McFarland. It was used both as a private residence and a gathering place. It was kept in the McFarland Family intil 1969.

Where You’ll Be Staying

The attic, which is where the two lofts are located, was used to host weddings, meetings, and church services. It was also used to host newly arriving merchants, tourists, and families.

Stay in The Magnolia House

Located near the far east side of Madison on Hwy 51 (Stoughton Rd.) situated off the 12/18 beltline that runs from the east to west side of Madison. You’ll also have easy access Interstate 39/90 and Hwy 151 with easy day trips to Milwaukee, Wisconsin Dells, and Green Bay.

The Magnolia House is a cozy 1900’s bungalow that can comfortably sleep six people. This 2BR home also features an additional room in the attic furnished with two single beds. You and your guests will enjoy all the comforts of home with a private backyard, firepit, and outdoor furniture.
